DivInc, an Austin accelerator focused on helping diverse founders, revealed its Fall 2019 cohort of startups on Monday.

The 13 companies are working on a wide variety of solutions, ranging from customized hardware to optimize AI computations to personalized travel guides, a flood-proof enclosure for your car and a marketplace for cannabis gig workers.

The startups, which will start the 12-week accelerator program next month, include seven women founders, as well as African American, LatinX, Asian, Caucasian and Middle Eastern founders. Though they're in the Austin-based program, it appears the startups come from a variety of cities, including Houston, Dallas, Grand Rapids, Mich., and Austin.

DivInc, a nonprofit led by co-founder and CEO Preston James, has had 40-plus founders go through its program, dating back to Fall 2016.
