Careers site Indeed is continuing its rapid growth in Austin.

Indeed plans to expand to two new offices with more than 615,000 square feet. This is in addition to the company's office in Northwest Austin that was unveiled two years ago.

Indeed says it signed a leased for the top 10 floors of a downtown building at Block 71 at 6th and Lavaca. Meanwhile, it's building out offices at the Domain Tower in north Austin at 721 Domain Drive. The company will also retain its building in Northwest Austin near RR 2222 and Loop 360.

The expansion is a sign of the company's commitment to Austin -- Indeed also plans to to hire as many as 3,000 new employees in the city over the next several years.

“We are committed to growing in Austin, a city that is a proven tech hub with excellent access to talent and a community that encourages innovation,” Indeed President Chris Hyams said in a news release. “As one of Indeed’s founding cities, it has been a great place to grow our organization over the past 13 years as we’ve helped millions of job seekers find new opportunities.”

Indeed says it has quadrupled its employee headcount in the past three years, reaching 6,100 overall, which includes about 1,600 employees in Austin.

The company was founded in 2004, and it was acquired by Japan-based Recruit Holdings Co. in 2012 for an undisclosed price. Recruit Holdings has also acquired Simply Hired and Glassdoor.
