Atlanta-based Montra Solutions, a software-enabled managed services provider that delivers cloud, security and infrastructure solutions, has acquired another local company, Midtown Technology Partners, a provider of managed IT services.

“Midtown Technology Partners has built a loyal set of clients and we look forward to continuing their great service while adding new and innovative solutions to provide value to their clients.” Scott Ryan, co-founder of Montra Solutions, said in a statement.

Founded in 2011, Midtown Technology Partners has helped small to medium sized businesses respond to industry and technology transitions, according to the company's website. The company provides IT services to a base of customers in Atlanta, including clients in real estate, legal, consulting and manufacturing.

The acquisition is strategically aligned with Montra’s commitment to providing enterprise-grade security, cloud and infrastructure services to mid-market and small businesses, according to a news release.

“We had more than one opportunity to combine forces with another managed services provider,” Adam Rimes, president of Administrivia and MTP’s largest shareholder, said in a statement. “The leaders of Montra Solutions have a unique vision and a proven ability to execute.

This acquisition will accelerate Montra’s growth plans, in hopes of supporting their customers’ current IT needs while accelerating the deployment of new digital initiatives

Montra Solutions assists in the management of complex IT operations with software that integrates and automates the monitoring and management of modern IT. According to Crunchbase, the company has only completed an undisclosed pre-seed round of funding.
