A month after celebrating its grand opening at a new office space in Midtown, Groundfloor, a real estate investment platform based in Atlanta, has given us a look inside their new digs.

The 8,000-square-foot office in the Bank of America Plaza can accommodate up to 100 people and currently houses 34 employees with expectations to grow. The new move comes just a few months after the startup raised $4.2 million in crowdfunding.

"Our mission, in short, is to help open up real estate investment opportunities to everyone," GroundFloor said. "In keeping with this openness, our office was designed on an open-concept floor plan. This helps facilitate communication, teamwork and accessibility for our company. Additionally, just as we are in the real estate fix and flip industry, all of our conference rooms are named after different aspects of this field---'Fix,' 'Flip' and 'Build' are just a few examples."

Inside, you'll find two kitchens, spacious conference rooms, a lounging common area and a full pantry of snacks, sodas, sparkling water, coffee and tea. Within the Bank of America Plaza, employees can also take advantage of a cafeteria, a Starbucks stand and a gym.

"As a team that works hard, we also like to play hard, too---and our office offers several ways to do that," GroundFloor said. "We have our own branded Jenga set, a mini putting green and a whole video game set-up in the conference room where our team likes to host Mario Kart tournaments. For the calmer folks, we also have a designated quiet room with a large, comfy lounge chair that team members can reserve for quick catnaps."
