Another international startup is crossing the Atlantic Ocean to join Atlanta's tech ecosystem this month.

Oktopost, a social media management platform for B2B companies, will open its first U.S. office in the Atlanta Tech Village on July 18, according to company representatives. The firm plans to hire 15 people by the end of the year.

"This is a huge milestone for us," Oktopost spokesperson Sapir Segal said. "It's also a great opportunity to expand our physical presence in the U.S. and more specifically, in Atlanta. We have many amazing tech partners in the area, including ClickDimensions, Salesfusion, Marketo and Salesforce. We believe that the tech ecosystem (and specifically SaaS) will continue to expand its presence in the Atlanta region, and we're honored to be a part of that growth."

Oktopost began operations in 2013 and is headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel. The company simplifies B2B social media marketing for management, measurement and engagement. The company has raised a total of $800,000 in funding since its inception, according to Crunchbase.

"Oktopost makes it extremely easy to schedule large volumes of content across multiple social networks, engage with audiences at scale, and measure the success of their activities," Segal said.

Oktopost follows other international companies like Featurespace and Korridor that have opened their first U.S. office or relocated to Atlanta.
