A handful of familiar names, including LeaseQuery, Voxie and Kobiton, have returned to the Technology Association of Georgia's annual list of the 40 most innovative companies in the state.

The honor recognizes local technology companies for their contribution to Georgia's economic growth.

A committee of tech leaders and investors judged the applicants based on their innovations, the market that innovation addresses and how they’ve benefited the tech economy.

TAG, led by CEO Larry Williams, is an association of more than 30,000 members that aims to grow the state’s tech economy through connecting leaders of different industries, promoting the state and influencing policy.

The 2023 Top 40 will be honored at the Georgia Technology Summit May 3 at the Georgia World Congress Center.
