FullStory, a digital experience analytics company founded by former Google engineers, is going on a hiring spree.

The need for better digital analytics accelerated during the pandemic, according to Gabby Sirner-Cohen, FullStory's vice president of people and places. That prompted a plan to grow from about 215 employees to 325 by the end of the year. Most of the hiring is happening in the next few months.

The company is adding employees across all departments, with a focus on product development and sales, Sirner-Cohen said.

FullStory started with small and mid-sized businesses as its main customers for digital analytics, but Sirner-Cohen said the company now works with enterprise retail, software-as-a-service companies and healthcare clients.

Building out capabilities to help those industries is the focus of their growth. FullStory also plans to merge artificial intelligence and algorithms to analyze how frustrating user experiences may correlate with lost conversions and revenues on a site.

FullStory plans to hire about half of the new employees for its Atlanta office and half to work remotely, Sirner-Cohen said. About 25 openings are currently on its website

FullStory officially took a remote-first approach to its workforce in September, according to a company blog post, but Sirner-Cohen said the team isn’t planning to leave its Midtown office. Instead, the office will be a place of collaboration and available to anyone who would rather work there.

Sirner-Cohen said the company plans to focus outreach to include women and people of color in order to get a diverse pool of candidates.

“It’s really an important effort for us, especially being headquartered in Atlanta, to be working toward creating a diverse and inclusive work environment that’s representative of the workforce around us,” Sirner-Cohen said.

Since the social justice protests in the summer, FullStory put out a statement of inclusion to make “the implicit, explicit,” Sirner-Cohen said.

It also created “Full Circles,” a program that aims to allow employees to have honest conversations with each other based around timely events, such as Black History Month.

“We want to have conversations so people can bring their whole selves to work and acknowledge what’s going on in the world around us,” Sirner-Cohen said.

Founded in 2014, FullStory is backed by Stripes, Salesforce Ventures, GV, Kleiner Perkins and Dell Technologies Capital.
