M3, a cloud-based accounting software firm for the hospitality industry, has recently opened new offices at a $5.4 million location in Gwinnett County.

After serving the hotel industry for nearly 20 years, M3 renovated a 60,000-square-foot space at 1715 N. Brown Road to serve as the company's new headquarters, which has additional space for future growth. M3 currently employs 150 employees at the Atlanta location, which features the company's signature colors---blue and green---throughout the building. According to company leaders, M3 hopes to expand to 200 employees shortly.

“We are excited to capitalize on the momentum M3 has built with this new milestone and continue to answer the ever-changing needs of the hospitality industry,” Allen Read, president and partner of M3, said in a statement. “This one-of-a-kind innovation hub not only reflects M3’s culture, it gives our employees a more positive work environment to increase collaboration and attract new talent from the region’s growing tech sector.”

In addition to a large workspace, this new office offers productivity rooms, a fitness center, a game room with pool, putt putt and other activities. M3 contracted architecture and design firm HOK in collaboration with Leapley Construction and interior designer Heather Rosenblum to make the location M3's home.

M3 says its software is used by more than half of the top hotel management companies in the U.S. and it provides cloud-based accounting services to more than 5,000 hotels.
