Atlanta Marketing Automation Firm Secures $50M in Series C Funding

SalesLoft, a marketing automation software firm in Atlanta, has raised $50 million in a Series C funding round led by Insight Venture Partners. 

In addition to funding from venture capital, LinkedIn joined in on the round, along with existing investor Emergence Capital. SalesLoft currently employs more than 220 people and announced plans to add more than 200 employees with the recent investments.

The company assists its clients in communicating with targeted lists of prospects on the web to set up product demos and pitches to score business. Notable customers include Cisco Meraki, Horizon Customer Story and IO Education.

SalesLoft has raised a total of $75 million and is reportedly valued at more than $200 million.
