Innovators, founders, entrepreneurs and smart minds alike gathered at WeWork Tower Place in Buckhead for our first official Atlanta Inno event, The Inno-troduction, Thursday night.

The house was packed and the crowd was lively, sharing innovative ideas left and right. After a warm welcome and a little intro about Atlanta Inno, guests gabbed over wine and beer, snacked on mini corndogs and meatballs and made friends at the Tiff's Treats cookie table.

To give you a taste of what the conversations were like, I chatted with the founder of SuperNova South, the largest and longest running tech conference in the Southeast, an innovator who's creating OpenTable for kid's parties and another who's working on a purifying water project, just to name a few.

I spoke with several super Beat fans who said they already love the stories we're showing up with every day in their inbox. We definitely want to keep the Beat tried and true to what's happening in the ecosystem while still keeping that Southern flair.

Thank you to those who attended and allowed us to show you a little Southern hospitality. Thanks to our event sponsors last night - Zendesk, WeWork and Tiff's Treats - for helping make last night possible. We hope to see you at our next event in June!
