The final matchup of Atlanta Inno Madness has come down to two clean energy startups.
Electric vehicle charging startup EnviroSpark Energy Solution Inc. and hydropower startup Emrgy are the last companies in the bracket, a friendly competition where readers choose the startup they would invest in and are most excited about.
Emrgy barely made it to the final round, beating film crowdfunding startup Seed&Spark with 51% of the votes. But the startup has been an underdog since the beginning — the No. 7 seed upset No. 2 MedTrans Go in the first week.
Meanwhile, EnviroSpark crushed its competitor in round four by 50% of the votes. As a No.1-seeded company, its winning run is less surprising.
