Terminus, an account-based marketing platform in Atlanta, has acquired another local company, Ramble, an account-based chat solution.
The acquisition will allow users to launch real-time, account-based conversations on the Terminus platform using the company's account intelligence, according to a blog post on the company's website.
Most recently, Terminus also acquired Sigstr, an email signature marketing solution.
"Native chat is a game-changer for our customers as we help them drive full-funnel engagement," Tim Kopp, Terminus CEO, said in a statement. "We’re in the middle of a major industry shift – marketers want all-in-one platforms over best-of-breed integrations because, at the end of the day, integrations can only do so much. Now with Ramble, our customers can personally engage target audiences at any stage of the funnel."
Together, Ramble and Terminus solutions will allow customers to add on-page chats; routing of conversations; ability for sales, customer support and marketing; chatbots and workflows that provide lead qualification and data collection autonomously; and the ability to connect marketing's advertising and brand activities directly to sales conversations.
"Bringing Ramble into the Terminus platform makes a ton of sense," Justin McDonald, Ramble CEO, said in a statement. "We’re incredibly aligned with Terminus’ vision to build the most robust B2B marketing suite on the market, now including powerful account-based chat capabilities. Not only is this a strong fit in terms of product, but it’s also a natural fit culturally."
All Ramble employees will transfer to Terminus' workforce. McDonald will join the leadership team at Terminus.
Terminus was founded in 2014 and has raised $30.6 million in funding to date.
