AnalyticsIQ, an Atlanta-based marketing data and predictive analytics startup, has raised nearly $15 million in a Series A round from Boathouse Capital, a Pennsylvania-based private equity firm.

AnalyticsIQ uses cognitive psychology and data science to help clients understand consumers and the decisions they make. The company's consumer database, PeopleCore, provides access to data attributes, including demographics and affluence categories to psychological drivers and purchase predictors. Marketers rely on their data to fuel personalized experiences across channels.

AnalyticsIQ was founded 2007 by Dave Kelly, following the acquisition of his former company, Sigma Analytics. This round is the first funding raise for the startup, according to Crunchbase.

According to Boathouse Capital's website, AnalyticsIQ appears to be the first Atlanta-based company the private equity firm has invested in. Other B2B companies in its portfolio include GreenDrop, BioPharm, Accurate, Navint, Calnet Technology Group and others.

In 2018, AnalyticsIQ was named as one of the Technology Association of Georgia's 10 Most Innovative Tech Companies in Georgia.
