Vyne, a Dunwoody-based health care communication platform, has been acquired by The Jordan Company, L.P., a private equity firm in New York. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition will help Vyne provide health care technology and support to hospitals, health systems and dental offices across the country, according to a news release. The company was acquired from private equity firm Accel-KKR. With support from The Jordan Company, Vyne plans to expand on its current platforms.

Lindy Benton, president and CEO of Vyne, told Atlanta Inno the company will continue to serve clients from its existing office locations in Dunwoody, and Knoxville, Tenn. No venue changes are planned. There are also no plans to rebrand or change the company's name.

“This acquisition provides Vyne with an amazing opportunity to serve more health care organizations and we’re looking forward to working with The Jordan Company to continue expanding our capabilities for serving the medical and dental markets,” Benton said in a statement. “Vyne clients and partners will benefit from this strategic move as we grow our portfolio of solutions that help position their health care organizations for the future.”

NEA Powered by Vyne is a part of the company's business that serves dental offices. The platform helps offices keep track of electronic attachments and serves more than 73,000 dental offices across the country.

Vyne Medical serves the health care industry with Trace, a content management platform, and secure information exchange solutions. The product is used by more than 800 hospitals and medical offices.

“Vyne has a long and successful track record of providing software products that deliver true value to health care organizations,” Dan Williams, partner at The Jordan Company, said in a statement.
