Atlanta’s startup ecosystem is seeing growth like never before.
Record amounts of venture capital are pouring into local companies. New resources are popping up for entrepreneurs. Five startups surpassed $1 billion valuations last year.
Atlanta Inno and the Atlanta Business Chronicle are honoring the startups that promise to make a splash in the innovation ecosystem this year.
The startups will be honored at a March 17 event at Star Metals. The event will include pitches from some of the honorees, a panel discussion from serial entrepreneurs and a conversation with former Startups to Watch companies.
The list was curated by Atlanta Inno reporting, local venture capitalists and other leaders in the tech industry. The companies, most of which are in their early stages, have hit milestones that foreshadow expansion — venture capital raises, completing well-known incubator or accelerator programs, achieving high revenue growth and/or innovating products in hot tech sectors.
