Weight loss brand LadyBoss announced Tuesday it is being acquired by Russell Brunson, the CEO and co-founder of ClickFunnels, a website marketing company.
The terms of the deal weren't disclosed.
Based in Albuquerque, LadyBoss provides weight loss products and coaching for women. Since its founding in 2015, the company has served more than 700,000 clients and reported $43 million in sales in 2021.
In 2019, LadyBoss ranked No. 4 on the Inc. 5000's list of the fastest-growing private companies in America after it grew 21,850% over three years. Later that year, the company ranked first on Albuquerque Business First's 2019 list of New Mexico's Fastest Growing Companies.
LadyBoss was founded by Brandon and Kaelin Poulin after Kaelin lost 65 pounds. The Poulins credit Brunson's company, Idaho-based ClickFunnels with their fast growth.
"Russell has been with us on this entrepreneurial ride since nearly the beginning," Brandon said in a statement. "He truly understands our brand and I can't think of a better leader to continue the LadyBoss legacy."
The Poulins now plan to use their experience and skills in other ventures. Brandon started a strategic consulting company for entrepreneurs. Meanwhile, Kaelin will serve as a brand ambassador for Ladyboss while prioritizing her family and influencer marketing career.
