Back in February, we profiled 10 companies as part of our New Mexico Inno Startups to Watch feature.
It’s a special section we plan to do annually. But what’s the point if we don't actually watch them? With that, we recently started checking in with those startups to see how 2022 was progressing.
Next up on the list, Falling Colors.
The organization works with government entities and nonprofits to “broaden the attainment of the social determinants of health for communities.” They do this via analytics, configurable software systems and other data tools that manage funds, track costs and measure impact.
Last time we checked in with them, they were working to update their workspace. Since then, they've hit a new milestone. For more on that, New Mexico Inno reached out to Sam Wolf, the chief operating officer and general counsel for Falling Colors.
Biggest achievement in the past three months: Falling Colors has implemented process improvements to enhance transparency in processing and tracking public funds including daily reconciliations, invoice reviews and simplification of accounting processes. We’ve also hit the milestone of having employees in 10 states.
Next goal you hope to achieve: Falling Colors is focused on simplifying process, enhancing transparency and accountability and improving configurability of our systems.
In three words, describe how 2022 has been for your business: Growth. Stability. Streamlining.
