Meow Wolf's Denver location celebrated its millionth and millionth-and-one visitors on June 15, 2022.

Meow Wolf's Denver location marked its millionth visitor on Wednesday, coming less than a year after the permanent art exhibition opened last September.
The landmark visitors were two teenagers, Numan Mahamed and Mohamed Siid, according to Meow Wolf. The Santa Fe-based company celebrated the pair — known as "travelers" in the Meow Wolf world — in "theatrical" style, according to a press release.
Denver's attraction, Convergence Station, is one of three Meow Wolf locations across the country. The first one, which opened in 2016, is in Santa Fe and another opened in Las Vegas in February 2021.
Meow Wolf says that combined, the three exhibits have entertained more than 3,000,000 visitors.

The company plans to open two more locations in Texas in 2023 and 2024. It has previously announced plans to open exhibitions in locations like Phoenix and Washington, D.C., that were later reevaluated.
The exhibitions tend to draw a large number of out-of-state visitors, making them a substantial tourist draw for the cities where they are located. When Meow Wolf opened in Denver, leaders estimated a $2.5 billion impact in direct and indirect contributions to visitor spending in the area within the next 10 years.
