Nominations are open for New Mexico Inno's 2024 Startups to Watch awards, a recognition of early stage, venture-backed companies in the Land of Enchantment primed for big things in the year ahead.

What defines a "big thing?" A new product launch, physical expansion, opportunities for significant investments or an innovative approach to solving a tough problem — or any combination — could all make a startup one to watch in 2024. (Check out last year's honorees to get a better idea of what we are looking for.)

There are a few eligibility requirements — companies must be headquartered in New Mexico, be less than five years old and have raised under $25 million in venture capital. Otherwise, nominations are all about telling a compelling story as to why our readers should pay attention to the given startup being nominated.

Find the nomination form here. It closes midnight, Jan. 5.

Honorees will be featured in a Feb. 2 special print edition of Albuquerque Business First, and on the New Mexico Inno site.

The Albuquerque Business First editorial team will judge nominations. Self-nominations are accepted.

Please contact New Mexico Inno Reporter Jacob Maranda with any questions about the nomination or judgment process.
