Starting a company is relatively easy. However, getting that company to a point where it's ready to grow is much more difficult.
Yet there's a good selection of entrepreneurs throughout New Mexico who are doing just that with their respective businesses — growing, whether through launching new products, landing patents or finding new sources of funding.
Through a nomination process and our research and reporting, New Mexico Inno has picked out ten startups that we think are primed for a big year ahead.

While numerous companies submitted thorough nomination forms and even more had been covered in previous Albuquerque Business First reporting, many fast-growing startups didn't make this list.
That doesn't mean Business First isn't dedicated to telling their stories, though. As Drew Tulchin, president of New Mexico Angels, said in a recent look ahead story, "This is one of the strongest times, if not the strongest time ever, for startups in New Mexico." Albuquerque Business First will be at the forefront of startup coverage as New Mexico's entrepreneur ecosystem continues to flourish.
Read all about these ten Startups to Watch in an upcoming special edition of Business First, out Feb. 3. And stay tuned to New Mexico Inno for more startup news ranging from funding rounds to product launches to physical expansion.
